About Me

Thank you for visiting my site.

Just a bit about me....

My main love has always been  drawing.  I did my first commissioned art when I was 16.   A teacher asked me to draw her 4 cartoon scenes of a boy and girl with an old horse.  These were pen & ink drawings with watercolor overlay.  This teacher was boarding her horse at the same stable where my family had horses. Other boarders saw these drawings and asked me to do portraits of their horses.  Their horse portraits were seen by other friends and family,  that led to many years of commissions.  Some clients had me do their entire family of pets.  You can see many of these portraits in the horse and pet section.

I attended Montgomery County Community College in Pennsylvania from 1978-1979.  I did not want to take their art program so I designed my own. I took all the studio courses that were offered, double the art courses that the art major students were taking.

Recently, I have started making baby booties, blankets, sweaters and other items to order.  When I was in grade school my Grandmom Werner taught me how to crochet and make hairpin lace. My newest craft is sewing, pet clothing & quilting...but I also dabble in embroidery and other crafts

In 1981, I moved to Dingman's Ferry, Pa. At that time I decided to go back to college and take more studio courses at ;East Stroudsburg State College.  My work was being shown at a few art shows and competitions. I got married and started a family.  My daughters were the inspiration to a series of postcards and prints called The Endless Mountain Girls  You can find this series in my stationary section and soon to become an illustrated e-book
